How to Style Denim Skirts: Look 2

The second casual look of How to Style Denim Skirts features another blue A-line denim skirt but this time, without buttons down the middle and with a frayed hem. I like having the options of denim skirts with and without buttons down the middle as they give off different vibes. I've said before that when I really like something, I tend to get it in all the colourways that it's available in. The same thing happened with this Topshop denim skirt which I got in blue, black and white (insert emoji of monkey covering its eyes here). I had a casual, classic, feminine and preppy look in mind when I put together this outfit.

The combination of a white cotton shirt and a blue denim skirt is classic and preppy. The Ray-Ban 'Wayfarer' sunglasses and Converse 'Chuck Taylor All Star' trainers are also classic pieces. The shirt has tiny pastel ice cream cones embroidered all over it, which gives a touch of femininity to the look and the blush pink bag emphasises that. A shirt is a formal piece, so I rolled up the sleeves and wore a pair of white trainers to dress down the outfit.
